About me

My name is Dr. Mátyás Káplár. I am a counselling psychologist and the founder of the KÁPLÁR Counselling Office.

I was born in Pécs and studied here. I graduated in psychology in 2008, qualified as a counselling psychologist specialising in couples and family counselling at Eötvös Loránd University in 2015, and earned my PhD at the University of Pécs in 2017. My work has two main areas: helping people through counselling and teaching fate analysis.

You are welcome at my counselling office if you would like to talk through everyday concerns or face a problem that is difficult to solve alone. I offer support with decisions about the direction of your life, relationships, family matters and parenting.

I also work with people in business and those who lead others or hold positions of responsibility. They need to make balanced, thoughtful decisions while considering many different factors, and to motivate colleagues and clients effectively. Business coaching can help them meet these challenges and succeed at work.

Prices are per session. A standard session lasts 50 minutes; couples and family counselling lasts 80 minutes.

Cancellation: You may cancel or change an appointment without charge up to the day before. Cancellations or changes on the day are charged at 50% of the session fee. If you do not attend and do not notify us, the full fee is charged.
